Sentiero 128: Piazza Brembana - Cespedosio

From Piazza Brembana center go downhill towards Brembo of Mezzoldo river, cross the main road and park the car (place named “I Fondi"). Cross Brembo river on a characteristic tower bridge (at 493 m), arriving in a pleasant grassy area with an old ruin and a chapel (Cappelleta dei Fondi). Here the 128 path starts climbing in the woods with few clearings in northwest direction. Reached Foppone valley, climb upstream, first on the right orographic side and then on the opposite side, to Maffenoli hut (1360 m, crossing with 127 path). Continue southward on the nearly flat path, crossing the head of Rossa valley and reaching the Campell hut (1359 m). Going downhill, on dirt road and mule track, get Cespedosio village (1093 m).
