Sentiero 241: Parre - Monte Vaccaro

The path starts upstream of Parre village, where the free traffic road ends (703 m - starting point also of path 240) From here walk on the limited traffic paved road and just after the bridge of Fontagnone valley, climb on the path on your left and follow it until you meet again the paved road just before St. Antonio of Alino (936 m)(St. Antony small church). Follow the road (leaving it only for few stretches) to 2^a Baita del Monte Vaccaro (1496 m) (2^nd Monte Vaccaro Hut) near Rifugio Baita Monte Vaccaro G.E.P. (1517 m). From the Hut climb through the pastures heading north to the 3^a Baita (3^rd Hut)(1649 m) then turn right (eastward) and get the wide ridge overlooking the Seriana Valley (turning right downhill you can reach the Baite del Monte Secco with path 264B). Walking on the ridge, get the top of Vaccaro Mount (1958 m).
