Descrizione
The path begins at the east outskirts of Schilpario near the small Church of Santa Elisabetta (1137 m). It climbs the valley in the forest with moderate slope up to 1321 m. Then the path climbs steeper with many hairpin bends and gets Busmino bird hunting hut (1639 m) and the Mount Busma pastures. Turn left (westward) heading Mount Gaffione and climb to the saddle (1960 m) between two mounts (Gaffione and Busma). Beyond the pass you get 4 small lakes (Laghetti delle Valli) at 1953 m, 1957 m, 1979 m and 1993 m and then the pass (1994 m) overlooking on Vivione pass area (crossroad with 415A path). The path goes downhill to a small bridge at 1814 m and, turns right to the plain with Gaffione hut ruins (path 427). Cross a second bridge and, after a short climb, you meet the flat dirt road leading quickly to the Vivione pass (1828 m).
