Leave the car at the end of Azzone village (Chiesa Street), near the starting point of 425 path (signpost and wooden board of Regional Reserve "Boschi del Giovetto"). Follow the nearly flat dirt road leading southward into the Reserve. After about 1.5 km you get a sawmill and cross the Val Giogna creek. The dirt road enters the thick forest of white firs and climbs with moderate slope to Giovetto di Paline pass (1275 m). Turn left on the little road climbing with steeper slope to “Malga del Costone” (hut) and finally to Costone ridge (pond and signpost at 1764 m- crossroad with 419 path and border with Brescia province and its No.102 path).
