Descrizione
Just before " Fondi" place (near Schilpario village) the path begins on the left near the visitable Mine/Museum. The path starts near the Mines’ facilities (1234 m). After a short stretch in the woods, there is a crossroad. Turn left (signpost) leaving on the right the 426 path. The path climbs upstream in the forest along the Valbona Valley, crosses the creek on a bridge and reaches the crossroads with 426 path (1500 m-signposts). Follow in the steep forest becoming bit by bit sparser. Left the forest, ford the creek (1666 m-Beware!!! No bridge!) and climb through meadows on the right side of the valley (left orographic). After a short stretch of light downhill, ford again the creek (BEWARE!!! No bridge!) and climb with moderate slope through meadows and moor to meet the 415 path not far from the ruins of the old Gaffione hut (1800 m) .
Warning: There are two challenging fords. It is possible cross the creek only with reduced water flow!
