Sentiero 516: Val Vertova - Forca d'Aviatico

The trail starts from Vertova, sharing its first stretch with the path n° 527. Just beyond the spectacular waterfall of  “de Gru” valley, you ford the Vertova stream. Then, the path rises quickly between rocks, becoming less steep in the closeness of the Corno byre. Soon you come to the ford on the torrent Gru and the path joins the trail leading to the San Salvatore little church (17^th century). When you reach the junction with the path n° 524, follow the road to the left which, shortly after, becomes a path going up to the “d'Aviatico” fork.
