The path starts from Albino, near the Romanesque bridge on the Serio river, where the Monte Cura road starts. When the paved road ends, take the right path that twists and turns through a dense broad-leaved wood. The path goes on through the wood as far as a bird-shooting hut, where it turns south-west passing near the old “armoury” ruin. Then the path goes up along the mountain rib as far as it comes over the Italcementi’s mines and it becomes steeper and steeper. As you get to the open space on the rib, where a shooting hut is located, you get up to the Cura’s field, that is a wide grazing land where an old mountain lodge overlooks the lower Seriana valley. Going by the edge of the pasture, you turn up westward and you walk down towards Pradalunga walking through chestnut woods and wide fields full of “caselle” as far as the “Sbardellata” valley. Here you find a square built with stones coming from Corti’s mines. Stone mining is over since some decades, but it boasts a rich history dated back until the Roman Age. From here, along the paved road, you quickly get to the Forcella sanctuary.
