Descrizione
The path begins at height 850 m, on the left side of the road near the facilities of Serbaplast company just before to reach Zorzone (hamlet of Oltre il Colle). The path follows Parina Valley, keeping (in the first stretch) the right orographic side of the valley. This Valley is one of the wildest and lonely of the mountain area of Bergamo District. You reach quickly the Petta Chapel (panoramic point) and then Pra Parina meadows, after about 1 hour walk with ups and downs in the woods. The easy path goes on in the forest, then enters a wild area and becomes more difficult: some rope and chain help the crossing of critical stretches to reach the bottom of the valley. Finally, you get the confluence of Parina creek with Brembo River (the place is called La Goggia). Here there are many remains of a narrow-gauge railway (bridges, galleries) Along the flat path on the right side (left orographic) of the Brembo Valley, you get the Farmhouse Ferdy near Scalvino hamlet (Lenna, about 460 m).
