Sentiero 417: Schilpario - Cimone della Bagozza

From Schilpario take the paved road leading to Vivione pass. Park the car at Cimalbosco locality (1550 m- red hut and Rifugio Bagozza) and walk to the right on the forest road heading the Campelli pass (signposts).  After about 1.5km you will find a clearing with the statue of “Madonna dei Campelli”. Turn right following the signs, and, after a nearly flat stretch, go downhill to the little Campelli Lake (1680 m). The path crosses a sparse forest, then heads to a steep scree that in its upper part becomes a rocky canal with boulders and debris leading to Ortiche pass (2292 m). Turn right (westward) on a grassy slope with some rocks and reach the top of Bagozza peak (Cross on the top at 2409 m).
