The 218A trail gives you an easy walk through the Neel Alps. Partially overlapped to 218 path it allows you to do a nice round trip.
Follow the forest path leading to Rifugio Alpe Corte (trail 220) up to 1350 m (from there, after 5 minutes walk you get the Hut). The path 218A begins on the left (rising) and goes downhill in the valley, crosses the creek by a bridge and goes up the other side reaching the forest road that rises up to the Neel Alp. Climb along this road till the crossing of 218 path,and follow it for a short stretch till the next crossroad.. Keep the left (signpost) toward Baita GAN. You will come to a beautiful plain below the cliffs of Corna Piana. Leave the path leading to Baita GAN and in short, heading west and then north, climb gently and cross again the 218 path between the lower and upper Neel huts. Turn right on the forest road walking downhill and shortky you get Rifugio Alpe Corte (Hut) (if you turn left, you climb to the lake and to the Branchino pass).
