Sentiero 127: Cugno di Sotto (Olmo al Brembo) - Baita Maffenoli

The trail starts at Cugno di Sotto (535 m), a neighborhood in south outskirts of Olmo al Brembo village. Cross Brembo river and climb into the woods (at the end of dirt road the 127path begins and there is the crossroad with 127A path leading to Piazza Brembana). The 127path rises in the forest of "Canale della Cassa” (right side, left orographic of the gorge). Reach the top of the valley at “Il Collino" (pass at 1290 m) then follow on a gentle slope to Rugio bird-hunting hut and then, after a steep climb, get Maffenoli hut (1367 m), crossroad with128 path coming from Piazza Brembana and leading to Cespedosio.
