Coming from Mezzoldo, the path starts just before to get Le Piazzole (hamlet of Piazzatorre -781 m). Take the forest road heading northward, on the left side of the main road. Walking along the hillside, enter Pegherolo valley, cross it on a bridge at around 920 m a.s.l. The path climbs into the woods to reach the spring called "Fontana di Sambiör" passing by neighborhoods Sambiör and Ca ' Olte (1100 and 1180 m)-in the beautiful Pegherolo meadows. Always going upstream in the Brembo Valley, you reach Malconvento neighborhood and then you cross the Monte Cavallo valley to Ronco place. The path climbs again to get the pastures near Casera Alpe Cavallo (dairy hut at 1517 m), overlooked by the south-western slopes of Cavallo Peak. Entering the forest, climb to reach Scandolera hut and then the wide meadows of Piano di Begna. Reached Begna hut (1716 m), the path turns right (eastward)-entering Terzera Valley and follows downhill to the crossroad of 115 path (at 1620 m a.s.l.).
