Descrizione
Round trip with starting/ending point at Rifugio Alpe Corte (1410 m) allowing you to watch the "dolomitic" northern cliffs from Monte Secco to Pizzo Arera. From Rifugio Alpe Corte, go a short stretch downhill to find on the left a signpost marking the start of the trail. Enter the woods and hike on the flat path for about 30 minutes. At the crossroad with 265 path, follow it, keeping the left, and reach the pastures of Monte Zulino lower hut (1441 m). Beyond the hut, the path climbs again along a grassy ridge leading to a pond at 1584 m. Leave the 265 path (leading to Monte Zulino middle hut 1600 m) and turn left (westward) to cross, with some ups and downs, a sparse forest ending near the Campagano lower hut (1603 m). This stretch is very panoramic! Go ahead to the second hut and, after a few meters, turn left at a drinking trough (southward - pay attention to the signs on the ground!) Go downhill to cross a small valley and, entering a forest, head westward to Roccolo di Corte (bird hunting hut - a little above the trail). The path goes downhill with hairpin bends to the bottom of the valley crossing the 216 path (Orobie Trail) near a bridge. Turn left (downstream in the valley) and quickly you get the Rifugio Alpe Corte, closing the loop of the path.
