135 - Colere Valzella

Dopo aver parcheggiato l’auto, svoltiamo in via Valzella e percorriamo il tratto in discesa. La strada è larga, ma proseguiamo sul lato destro e sul marciapiede. Sulla destra raggiungiamo una fontanella e facciamo rifornimento di acqua. La strada prosegue tra le case, sempre su tratto asfaltato. Il percorso ora diventa sterrato, largo ed in piano. Raggiungiamo le ultime case e ci accingiamo ad entrare nel bosco. Un palo segnaletico ci informa sulle possibili direzioni da seguire. Sul masso a sinistra sono presenti le bandierine dei “Sentieri colorati” e degli “Gli alberi parlanti”. Raggiungiamo e superiamo un guado, ora asciutto che superiamo agevolmente. Sulla sinistra nei pressi di una piazzola ombreggiata, è presente una panchina. Proseguiamo su un tratto sterrato, ricco di sassolini, in leggera salita. Al bivio proseguiamo sul lato sinistro, tra la rigogliosa vegetazione. Sulla destra compare una struttura caratteristica del percorso degli “Alberi parlanti”. Ci soffermiamo di fronte all’albero che ci fornirà informazioni e la visione della “Corna di Grana”. Il bosco è splendido, la frescura è magnifica ed il percorso così è fantastico. Il fondo risulta in questo tratto composto di acciottolato, ma abbastanza largo. Usciamo dal bosco e sulla sinistra è presente una deviazione, noi proseguiamo diritti. Questo secondo albero ci fornisce informazioni e la visione del “Il Tornello”. In lontananza vediamo Barzesto e la valle di Scalve verso Schilpario. Raggiungiamo una costruzione in muratura sul pianoro in erba. Abbiamo raggiunto la “Cascina di ‘Ach”, con la splendida facciata in muratura. Volgendo lo sguardo all’indietro, vediamo in fondo il gruppo del Pizzo Camino. Superata la casetta il percorso si restringe e prosegue nel bosco, ma decidiamo di fermarci qui. La vista corre verso Vilminore e Vilmaggiore di Scalve, sul pianoro sinistro della valle. Nel tornare al punto di partenza, ammiriamo la Presolana, la chiesa Parrocchiale di San Bartolomeo apostolo e la chiesetta del Cesulì.

After parking the car, we turn onto Via Valzella and walk down the slope. The road is wide, but we stay on the right side and walk on the sidewalk. On the right, we come to a water fountain and fill our water bottles. The road continues between the houses, still on a paved surface. The path now becomes a wide, flat dirt road. We reach the last houses and are about to enter the woods. A signpost indicates the possible directions to follow. On the boulder to the left are the flags marking the “Colored Trails” and “The Talking Trees.” We reach and cross a ford—now dry—which we cross easily. On the left, near a shaded clearing, there is a bench. We continue along a slightly uphill dirt path strewn with small stones. At the fork, we take the left path, winding through the lush vegetation. On the right, we see a structure characteristic of the “Talking Trees” trail. We stop in front of the tree that will provide us with information and a view of the “Corna di Grana.” The forest is beautiful, the cool air is wonderful, and the trail is fantastic. The path in this section is paved with cobblestones but is fairly wide. We exit the woods, and there is a detour on the left; we continue straight ahead. This second tree provides information and a view of “Il Tornello.” In the distance, we see Barzesto and the Scalve Valley stretching toward Schilpario. We reach a stone building on the grassy plateau. We have arrived at the “Cascina di ‘Ach,” with its splendid stone facade. Looking back, we see the Pizzo Camino massif in the distance. Once past the little house, the path narrows and continues through the woods, but we decide to stop here. The view stretches toward Vilminore and Vilmaggiore di Scalve, on the left-hand plateau of the valley. On our way back to the starting point, we admire Mount Presolana, the parish church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, and the little church of Cesulì.
