143 - Percorso ad anello di Bruntino Alto

Parcheggiamo l’auto di fronte alla Santella di via Bruntino Alto. Al bivio ci incamminiamo sulla salita in asfalto sulla sinistra. Proseguiamo lungo i tornanti della strada asfaltata. Al bivio svoltiamo a destra sulla strada sterrata. Proseguendo, sempre sul fondo sterrato svoltiamo a sinistra. Il percorso è piacevole e senza difficoltà particolari. Raggiungiamo e superiamo sulla nostra destra una costruzione in muratura. Raggiunto il bivio proseguiamo sulla sinistra. Di fronte a noi si presenta un lungo rettilineo con una staccionata verso valle. Il fondo cambia leggermente con dei piccoli sassi, proseguiamo sulla sinistra. Al termine della salita raggiungiamo la località Pissol (445 m.). Svoltiamo a sinistra e proseguiamo il cammino. Sulla destra è presente una zona di sosta attrezzata. Il percorso prosegue pianeggiante e la vegetazione è rigogliosa. Sulla sinistra compaiono tra il verde dei fiori, che impreziosiscono il paesaggio. Proseguendo, raggiungiamo sulla sinistra una piccola zona di preghiera molto ben tenuta. Superato un cantiere sulla destra, svoltiamo a sinistra e saliamo su un tratto cementato. Raggiungiamo il termine della salita e svoltiamo leggermente a destra. Sulla sinistra pascolano tranquillamente delle pecore nel loro recinto. Al bivio svoltiamo a destra seguendo le indicazioni del palo segnaletico. Rientriamo nel bosco fitto e la frescura ci accompagna lungo il cammino. Raggiunto il bivio proseguiamo sulla sinistra. Il percorso si stringe e bisogna fare attenzione anche al fondo con dei piccoli sassi. Proseguendo, passiamo sotto un arco naturale di rami e foglie. Dopo aver svoltato a destra, ci incamminiamo su un tratto in salita, con degli scalini di pietra. Raggiunto il bivio svoltiamo a sinistra e proseguiamo il cammino. Raggiungiamo un tratto in leggera salita con delle rocce, prestiamo attenzione al cammino. Superiamo in leggera discesa delle pietre, che delimitano delle proprietà. Il percorso è ora più stretto, con dei sassi affioranti, ma che si superano facilmente. Raggiungiamo il piccolo borgo di via San Marco e lo percorriamo tra le sue viuzze. Ammiriamo alla nostra destra, lo splendido panorama di Bruntino. Raggiungiamo sulla sinistra di via San Marco, la chiesa di San Marco e proseguiamo il cammino sul tratto asfaltato. Al bivio svoltiamo a sinistra e raggiungiamo il punto dal quale abbiamo iniziato l’escursione.

We park the car in front of the Santella on Via Bruntino Alto. At the fork, we set off up the paved road on the left. We continue along the switchbacks of the paved road. At the fork, we turn right onto the dirt road. Continuing along the dirt road, we turn left. The route is pleasant and presents no particular difficulties. We reach and pass a brick building on our right. Upon reaching the fork, we continue to the left. Ahead of us lies a long straight stretch with a picket fence running downhill. The terrain changes slightly to small stones; we continue to the left. At the end of the climb, we reach the hamlet of Pissol (445 m.). We turn left and continue on our way. On the right is a rest area with facilities. The trail continues on flat ground, and the vegetation is lush. On the left, flowers appear among the greenery, enhancing the landscape. Continuing on, we come to a small, very well-maintained prayer area on the left. After passing a construction site on the right, we turn left and climb up a paved section. We reach the top of the climb and turn slightly to the right. On the left, sheep graze peacefully in their pen. At the fork, we turn right, following the directions on the signpost. We re-enter the dense forest, and the cool air accompanies us along the path. When we reach the fork, we continue to the left. The path narrows, and we need to watch our step on the rocky surface. Continuing on, we pass under a natural arch formed by branches and leaves. After turning right, we begin an uphill section with stone steps. Upon reaching the fork, we turn left and continue on our way. We reach a slightly uphill stretch with rocks; we pay close attention to the path. We pass some stones marking property lines on a slight descent. The path is now narrower, with exposed rocks, but these are easily navigated. We reach the small hamlet of Via San Marco and walk through its narrow streets. On our right, we admire the splendid view of Bruntino. On the left side of Via San Marco, we reach the Church of San Marco and continue along the paved section. At the fork, we turn left and return to the starting point of our hike.
